If you had unsafe sex and want to find out if you have an STD, where do you go?
Big Dutch hospitals normally have an outpatient clinic where they test you anonymously and for free. Phone the hospital beforehand to find out how it works with appointments.
The Dutch GGD has a chart on internet (www.ggd.nl/inkaart/) with all their addresses. You only have to fill in your area code and you’ll know what the nearest address is.
You can also visit your GP.
If you live outside theNetherlands and don’t want your GP to know that you possibly have a STD you can always phone the doctor’s assistant without giving your name and ask for a clinic nearby where you could be tested.
