In the Netherlands your parents have to give permission for an abortion if you are not yet 16 years old. If this causes problems the clinic will search for a solution.
It is determined by law that a woman has to wait five days after her first contact with a doctor before she can have an abortion. This is done to make sure the woman had enough time to make a well-considered decision.
It’s paid for by the government if you can prove you are Dutch.
