Giving a blow job means stimulating the penis with your mouth. It is also referred to as “genital kissing”, “giving head,” and "fellatio" (from the latin fellare, ‘to suck’).
Most teenagers do not practice fellatio. Generally speaking, this intimate activity is introduced some time after the first experiences with intercourse. In the Netherlands about 11% of the boys and 16% of the girls between 12 and 18 years have engaged in it.
About 70% of the Dutch adult population (both of men and women) has given or received a ‘blow job.’
Fellatio is not a safe sexual practice. It poses a risk of sexually transmitted diseases. So if you don’t know if your lover has a STD, use a (flavored) condom without lubricant.
