Girls
get more body hair during their teens. How much hair is determined by
heredity.
Most
girls get pubic hair anywhere between 8 and 11 years of age. Axillary hair normally starts to appear 1 or 2 years later.
Some
girls don’t like it when they get hair on their body, like their legs.
They choose to remove it.
Some women
suffer from hirsutism. This is a male pattern
of hair growth, i.e. on the lip and chin. They may also have excessive
hair growth on the rest of their body. Tests may show what’s wrong. If
it’s due to too much male hormones
or your body is very sensitive to these hormone Diane-35 may help you
out (a contraceptive pill blocking the effects of androgenic hormones).

I’m
a girl of 16 and getting a moustache. I’m so embarrassed. What can I
do about it?
