40-80% of the girls has no symptoms. That’s why many don’t seek help and get treated.
They only find out when they want to get pregnant
but don’t. So if you had unsafe sex or change partners regularly, be tested every
year, just to make sure. Symptoms that should alert you:
Watery,
pus-like discharge from the vagina.
Bleeding
in between periods and after intercourse.
Painful
urination, lower abdominal pain and/or pain during intercourse.
The
anus may itch and there
may be discharge.
It
can also cause inflammation of the lining of the eye and infect the throat from
oral contact with an infected partner.
