I was confused when I got excited
during a physical exam. It seemed as if I liked it, but I hated the
whole thing!
There
can be outward signs of excitement, like getting wet or with guys an erect
penis, but that doesn’t say anything about the inner experience. Without wanting
it your body can respond as if it’s about sex. It’s an automatic physical reflex,
produced by the spinal cord. Getting excited during a physical exam only shows
that your body functions well. Don’t let this confuse you: don’t draw the conclusion
that you must have liked it. The same reflex is seen when girls or guys are sexually
abused. Although it’s a traumatic experience there may be outward sighs of arousal.
Afterwards they may have the feeling their body betrayed them. But that’s not
the case. The reaction of the genitals says nothing about your feelings.
