Is the finger lock harmful? Problems that are sometimes mentioned:
·        Irritation of the urethra.
·        Retrograde ejaculation. The semen might be forced to flow backward into the bladder. Next time you pee the urine will be cloudy. This can be avoided if you place your fingers more towards your anus. It’s unclear if this causes health problems.
·        Guys who exert too much pressure on this area may after a while experience erection problems, like professional bike riders. So the perineum is vulnerable. It’s unclear if the finger lock is comparable to the problems that arise from pressure by bicycle riding.

There is as yet no direct evidence whether it’s healthy or unhealthy, so it’s your call. But one rule should be obeyed: if you try it and it hurts, don’t continue.
