The
symptoms normally appear between 2 days and 2 weeks after exposure.
About
90% of the guys gets symptoms within a few days after infection, like a burning
feeling when urinating and a thick, pus-like discharge.
In
some women it causes frequent, urgent and painful urination, along with
a pus-like discharge from the vagina.
Infections
in the throat cause few symptoms. If there are symptoms you may have a sore throat,
pain on swallowing and your throat and tonsils may be red. The
anus may feel uncomfortable
and there may be a little discharge, but normally there are no symptoms.
