I am 14 and have a lump under my right nipple. It’s painful to touch. Can it be breast cancer? I am scared!

Don’t worry. When it comes to nipple or breast enlargement during your teens it’s normally gynaecomastia. Many guys fear it to be breast cancer, but that is hardly ever the case. With gynaecmastia it’s normally a tender mass, measuring 1-3 cm, well rounded and in the middle of the breast. There may be other symptoms, like bloody discharge from the nipple and a swelling of the skin. From your description I expect it to be gynaecomastia. But if you want to be sure go to your doctor to have it checked out.
