The
symptoms of people who are HIV infected vary. Some examples:
Flu
like symptoms that last for days at a time.
Extreme
tiredness and weakness for a longer period which cannot be explained.
High
fevers, lasting more than three days and night sweats.
Frequent
diarrhoea with no apparent cause.

Rapid
weight loss without dieting.
Purple
spots on the skin.
Coughing
fluid from the longs for more than several weeks.
Swollen
lymph nodes.
Thrush:
thick white coating in the mouth, vagina
or rectum.
Women
often get an increased number of yeast
infections and PID.
