You have to decide for yourself what being a Christian means today. You can interpret the Bible in many ways. Some take negative passages very literally. But there are also many Christians who have no problem with homosexuality, making a distinction between biblical ideas that are bound to a particular time and culture and ideas that belong to the core of the Christian faith.
