Intercourse
can be painful for girls. A few possible causes: ·
It can be painful if your vagina
is not wet enough. If that’s the case you better wait till you’re very excited
and your vagina is slippery enough or you can use a lubricant
(water based). You put some on the penis
and/or at the entrance of your vagina before you start coïtus.
·
When your lover enters
your vagina very deeply he can hit your cervix.
Some women find this painful. He has to use another technique, for instance
short
thrusts, or you can choose other positions.
For instance positions where you are in control of the movements.
·
The first time intercourse can
be painful because of the hymen.
If the pain persists after two or three times, you should have it checked out.
·
Intercourse can be painful or
even impossible if the girl involuntarily tightens her PC-muscles (vaginismus).
The vaginal opening becomes very tight, making penetration impossible or painful.
If you do this you have to learn how to control your PC-muscles.
Ask for help if you don’t succeed on your own. ·
Pain can also be caused by an
STD (like genital
herpes or warts),
kamsymfyse, PID,
a vaginal ulcer, an infection
or vulvar
vestibulitis. If you have pain
and cannot solve it yourself, go to your GP. Don’t wait too long, because it can
ruin your sexlife.
