The Kama Sutra is an old technical guide to sexual enjoyment, written in ancient India somewhere in the first few centuries A.D. In this sexual manual attention is paid to a diversity of subjects. A few examples:
Sexual techniques. You can kiss a young girl in three ways, while distinguishing eight kinds of kisses. There are four kinds of embraces and you can press the nails in the body or bite in no less than eight different fashions. It describes nine ways in which the penis can move in the vagina.
Making a pass at. If it’s clear that a girl likes a guy, he can try to win her love by for instance taking her hand, by diving under water while swimming and coming to the surface next to her or by touching her foot at a party.
The body. The Kama Sutra distinguishes for instance three different sizes of genitals. Guys can be - from small to large - a hare, bull or horse, while women can be a deer, mare or elephant. Every Jack must have his Jill.

The Kama Sutra has been translated into many languages, also into English and Dutch. Many of the practises described are very alien, making the Kama Sutra kind of weird to read, almost like a recipe manual. But it’s enjoyable to have a look at it.
