I’m ashamed because my nipples don’t stick out like those of others. They point inwards!

Normally the first sign of breast development with girls is enlargement of the nipples. They start to stick out a little. But there are many exceptions to this rule. With many girls the nipples are flat, while 3% have nipples that are inverted. This is caused by a milk duct that is too short, drawing the nipple in. When you cannot accept it a plastic surgeon can easily change it. It’s a small operation. Ask beforehand whether it is done in such a way that you can still breastfeed a child, if that’s what you plan on in the future. But realise that you are probably more critical of your own body than others. Others might not even notice what you are ashamed of.
