I think I have a third nipple under my right one. It looks strange.
Can I have it removed? Extra nipples are more common
than people know. They normally occur anywhere along the milk line (see drawing),
most often just under the breasts. Because the initial development of the milk
line is similar in male and female foetuses, both girls and guys may have extra
nipples. Often people don’t notice it, thinking it’s a mole. Extra nipples don’t
cause any problems, making it unnecessary to have them removed. But if you think
it looks strange and you want it removed, that’s possible. It’s done under local
anaesthetic and removed the same way a mole is.
