I have done a pregnancy test and it turns out that I am pregnant. Should I visit my GP?

If you are not sure you don’t have a STD you should visit your GP to have it checked out. But if you have never taken any risk you can visit your doctor, but this is not really necessary. In the Netherlands girls normally call a midwife for an appointment after being pregnant for 8 to 10 weeks. It usually takes some weeks before you can come by.
