When you get lice you often don’t notice this immediately (they are small as the white spots on the photograph). It can take some weeks to two months before it starts itching. After a while the skin starts to get irritated.
You can get rid of them with a lice shampoo, which is sold over the counter. Ask information at your local drug store. Ordinary soap and water doesn’t work.
Don’t just treat the effected area, but also your cloths, sheets and blankets. Because this is quite an enterprise you should inform your family or housemates. If you got lice from your lover nobody needs to know. You could have gotten them from a shared towel or bed linen.
