frenulum is attached
to the raphe of the glans,
close to the urethral
opening.
The frenulum blends into the ridged band, providing a link between
important sensory structures.
During masturbation
and intercourse
the ridged band moves up and down the glans, snapping past the coronal
ridge, gently pulling the frenulum down. This improves the sensations during intercourse.
