It hurts when I try to clean the tip
of my penis. I am not circumcised
and don’t like to pull the foreskin
back. What should I do?
You
should pull the foreskin back in spite of the pain. Your glans is possibly
very sensitive because it has always been covered. When you roll it
back regularly and you touch the glans to clean it, the skin will become
thicker, making the glans less sensitive. You can also expose the glans
before you go to sleep or when you watch television or do your homework.
Another way to tackle this problem is to wet the glans with cold tea
after showering. The tannic acid will thicken the fragile skin. It’s
very important to remove the smegma every day. If you fail to do this the foreskin may
stick to your glans, making it impossible to pull it back.
