There are many kind of vibrators:
Most vibrators are straight. The shape can be simple (a rod), realistic (a penis) or funny (a lipstick or dolphin).
G-spot vibrators. They are bent, making it easier to stimulate the G-spot or prostate.
Duo-vibrators: one part is inserted in the vagina while the other part vibrates against the clitoris. The dildo portion often looks like a human, while the other part is often the tongue or nose of an animal that flicks the clitoris. Some have a third part to penetrate the anus.
Egg shaped vibrators which are meant to go into the vagina. You keep the speed control in your hand. They can also be pressed against the clitoris. Common names are ‘bullet’ and ‘pearl.’ You can wear it underneath your clothes and turn it on whenever you like.
Hands- free vibrators, like the Butterfly with elastic straps. At first the hands-free vibrators didn’t work very well. They didn’t stay in place and the vibration was too weak. But there appear more strap-on models that are better designed.
Anal vibrators are often long and slender. There are also vibrating butt plugs. Many vibrators come with anal attachments.
Vibrating cock ring. A bullet vibrator is attached to a cock ring, which is placed around the base of the penis. The bullet goes on the bottom, stimulating the testicles. It can be worn during intercourse, but then the bullet should be on top, stimulating the penis and clitoris (with a rocking rather than a thrusting motion).
Double vibrators. Two vibrators with their own speed control are joined at the base. Lesbians lying in a scissors position can both insert the vibrator into their vagina.
